Gin Ichimaru was the captain of the 3rd Division of the Gotei 13 until he betrayed Soul Society, alongside Sosuke Aizen and Kaname Tosen. His lieutenant was Izuru Kira. He formerly served as the lieutenant of the 5th Division under Sōsuke Aizen and the 3rd Seat of the 5th Division under Shinji Hirako.

I'll admit here that I've only recently properly gotten into BLEACH despite growing up in the hay day of its popularity. Thanks to a friend of mine being a mega fan despite the over-hate of the series who helped make it less intimdating to get into and less seem like waste of time that people had convinced it me to be which yes I am aware that's rich coming from someone who loves One Piece. I was witnessing the nightmare that the original ending caused and everyone should apologize to Tite Kubo actually ♥. I also didn't like the fandom based upon the treatment of Orihime and the way shippers were so rabid about Ichiruki vs Ichihime which reminds me why I hate shipping in fandom for the most part due to just...how sexist it can get. This isn't about that though, this is about Gin!

I do play Brave Souls! I aim to collect every special Gin unit in a similar vein to my every Sanji collection in Treasure Cruise. I will admit I am not an ACTIVE player due to life, general stress, and not really fixating on BLEACH most times. It takes a real dig of the heel sometime. I recently pulled SPIRIT SOCIETY GIN and I was so happy to get him back as I lost my first account where I got him >>. He's just my little guy and I love him.
